A central figure in European Post-war sculpture, Eduardo Chillida produced an extraordinary body of work over a five decade-long career and established himself amongst Spain’s most internationally acclaimed artists. Inaugurating Ordovas’ presence in New York, the exhibition Chillida: Rhythm-Time-Silence is also the first to be dedicated to Chillida in the city for more than twenty-six years. The monumental sculptures displayed in Ordovas’ New York and London galleries reflect the intimate and universal themes that characterise Chillida’s vision. The exhibition travelled to The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City in 2017 and to the Rijksmuseum in 2018.
