On 12 January 1955, Alexander and Louisa Calder arrived in India, where they remained for three months, travelling, sight-seeing and working. During this stay, Calder produced nine sculptures as well as some jewellery. This catalogue delves into the works that Calder produced in India and which have not been exhibited publicly for over half a century. It includes essays by Pilar Ordovas and Oliver Wick, along with letters and documents that belonged to the artist.
